CRM4: Retrieving the text of a unresolved Lookup in javascript

Needed this for a requirement from a client.

Using the trusty IE Development Toolbar you could see how to access this piece of text.

crmForm.all.fieldname_d.getElementsByTagName('span')[0].outerText
